Health Exam
A health exam is done on an annual basis and includes a physical exam, vaccines, wellness testing and fecal analysis.fecal analysis.

Physical examination
When you arrive with your pet for a health exam, a veterinary technician will take the weight of your pet and then bring you both into an exam room. Here, you can discuss the health of your pet and any concerns you may have. The technician will take your pet’s temperature and heart rate and ask you some questions regarding nutrition and the general health of your pet.
The veterinarian will then continue the physical examination whereby your pet’s eyes, ears, skin, cardiovascular, neurological, gastrointestinal and skeletal system are examined and assessed for any abnormalities.
Vaccinations
If your pet is in good health, vaccinations needed are given during the annual exam.
Wellness and diagnostic testing
Blood and urine wellness testing provides information on the health of your pet’s internal organs and immune system. A general health profile blood test assesses the functioning of the kidneys, liver, pancreas, and endocrine system, including the thyroid gland and adrenal glands. A urine test provides additional information on kidney function and bladder health. A 4Dx test is a blood test to detect the presence of heartworm or any of these three tick diseases: Anaplasma, Ehrlichia and Lyme.
Depending on your pet’s condition, we may recommend further diagnostic tests such as dermatology testing, radiography and ultrasound.
